Mechanism of ActionXELJANZ® (tofacitinib) is a pharmacological class of small molecules with a simultaneous effect on multiple mediators of inflammation and an oral formulation called Janus Kinase (JAK) Inhibitors1

The oral route of administration, the short half-life, and the fast onset of action are key advantages of JAK inhibitors.The development and application of JAK inhibitors are a breakthrough in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.JAK inhibitors have the potential to deliver prolonged efficacy and clinically meaningful patient benefits.6
